We are a fourth-generation traditional textile family business.

Our GIZA journey began when one of our suppliers introduced us to the manager of a loss-making textile mill run by the Egyptian government. What started as a single meeting quickly grew into a remarkable turnaround story.

Our founder Mr. KK Baweja brought together a team of experienced textile experts from India and carried out a detailed on-site study of the mill’s operations. After careful analysis, he recommended a strategic change: temporarily shifting from traditional garment production to high-quality bedding products as an urgent financial requirement.

This move connected the mill with European and American clients. As a result, the mill was able to reduce its workforce by 50% while keeping salaries the same for everyone who remained, and its revenue improved significantly.

Once the mill became financially strong, garment production was restarted and the same workforce was brought back.

Impressed by the success of this one mill, the Egyptian government applied the same revival programme to several other loss-making mills. Today, these mills successfully supply both bedding and apparel to leading global brands.
